Our Club was formed in 1958 and is one of the oldest established and most recognized under the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). Our flying field is located between Hummelstown and Middletown, PA, just off the North Union Street exit of Interstate 283. It is called Creamery Field and is located in secluded bottomland below an industrial park.
KRCS membership is a group of active modelers with a wide range of interests including sport, scale, pattern, 3D, giant scale aircraft and helicopters. Our power choices are divided among gas, glow fuel and electric and some members hold Private to Commercial pilot licenses for full scale aircraft. KRCS has a strong group of Instructors and instructing both new flyers and those wishing to achieve a higher certificated rating is a club priority.
We host membership meetings from April to October at the flying field on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. You will be given notice when and where the winter meetings are held. We welcome all members and visitors, come out and let us show you how simple it is to get started and what fun the sport can bring into your life.
